The foundation has received the donation of a 500 square mt. commercial property which will allow the foundation to create the Library, the Home Works Room and to give more capacity to our Computer School so that we can accommodate more children who come from Maquiteria, Villa Olímpica, Villa Duarte and other communities to do their daily home works.

The renovation of this property is under construction; we are able to accommodate 200 children per day in the Home Works Room, the library will be open to the public and the Computer School will be able to instruct 2,560 children and teenagers each semester. We continue to receive support from volunteers and a number of organizations such as: Disesa, Educando, Actualidad Escolar 2000, Literatura Universal, Americana Departamentos, Departamento de Discapacidad del Plan Social de la Presidencia Colson, Hicks, Eidson, Oficina de Abogados de Coral Gables and others that provided Books, Brochures, Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Supplies for Education and Courses for the children.

In conjunction with Airline Ambassadors we made a donation of school supplies and back packs in Puerto Plata.

In “Hogar de niñas Teresa Toda” at Azua we donated back packs with school supplies.

We also coordinated an event en Bani City where the public enjoyed performances by “Banda Sinfónica Juvenil Independiente” of Bani, Santa Rosa School and “Los Bomberitos de Bani”. Children had the opportunity to paint and read and they enjoyed refreshments donated by Jugos Bon.
